Swim Lab 4520

Family is important. Our sister company is Little Big Swim where we Learn to swim from babies to adult, stroke development and squads.

At first glance, a swim school and swim squad doesn’t have a lot in common with a physiotherapy practice. In truth, there is a lot more common ground than you’d think.

Creating trust in our movements, leveling up physical skills, building communities.

Choose the right swim school for you, and you will LOVE coming to lessons.

BUNYA

We teach babies to school aged stroke development in leafy, quiet Bunya, in our roasty toasty 32 degree salt water, magnesium pool.

Teaching only one class at a time, in a shaded outdoor pool.

SAMFORD

SWIM LAB

Giving local athletes an Institute of sport experience. Samford Pool is the home of Swim Lab, our Competition and Performance Swim Squad. This team train in our 25m salt water pool, and in the Performance Lab Gym at Samford Valley Physio with our gifted Strength and Conditioning Physios and Coaches. Getting the most out of water training and gym based programming.

Social Squad

In swimming it’s rare to find a squad that has been established for non competitive athletes. Social Squad swimmers swim 1 or more times per week. It’s designed for those kids who just love to swim. They may have other sports, but they also love swimming.

This squad focusses on skills acquisition (learning the finer points of stroke, turns, dives, finishes) but ultimately we make this one hour session super fun for the swimmers.

Development Squad

Samford is also home to our School Aged Stroke Development Program, and our Development Squad (also known as mini squad) where our swimmers who have finished all four strokes learn the finer points of squad before joining the squad program.
